secretary

so I finally saw Secretary tonight. kudos to Chris, a braver man than most for watching this movie with me, crazy bitch that I am.

more on this later maybe, but for now- this movie was really excellent. aside from its messages about D/s relationships, which I can understand (well, not really, but in theory) people disagreeing with, it was just incredibly pleasing to look at, the shots were just so beautifully done. and as for Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader... wow. I am terrible at writing reviews, so just fucking watch the movie.

Yeah. Good movie. Nicely photographed. I just bought Lost in Translation and The Virgin Suicides. I love Sofia Coppola.
