her visits were becoming imprudent.

why can't I sleep? seriously. why? almost a week now, this same feeling. watching the rectangle of light between the air conditioner and the curtains getting slowly lighter, brighter, whiter, whatever.

my mind is running hot and cold. the faucets in our shower have wrenches for handles. my ears feel strange, everything sounds like the sonic equivalent of vaseline on the lens. Pasty may have gotten me sick. (speaking of which, he may be singing with Chris and I at the acoustic show Monday the 26th at the shoreham rec center, y'all should come.)

unrelated: whoa, Noah actually updated, check it out. the song he posted is neat.

also: Madame Bovary is a boring bitch. Seriously. augh. bitch. this book is almost enough to put me to sleep.

one more thing: my cell phone number will be changing soon. I don't know when exactly, sometime over the next few days, and I don't know what the new number will be. you can try calling, but you're probably better off emailing me. g'nite.

brothers and boys don't always get along, but I think he's just shy. he's a good kid, but he's kind of easily intimidated. like, I think he's somewhat afraid of Kira. ;)

no way, i loved that book. the characters seem so real, i could compare each of them to at least one person i know. and emma bovary is a boring bitch, but that's what's so awesome about her. she leads a normal, boring life like everyone else in the world and she just can't figure out how to accept that. she's so materialistic and flawed and naive, and she eats up everything that rodolphe bastard feeds her (ahem, push the dirty thoughts out of your mind). that guy in particular pissed me off. i don't know if you've gotten there yet, but that scene where rodolphe first seducts emma is incredible. but ok, i should stop now.

and um... by "seducts" i of course meant "seduces." whoops.

yeah, that scene is excellent, but hits a little too close to home at points.

I think I need to learn to enjoy reading about characters I dislike. I can't sympathize with any of these characters. Emma in particular, because we have too much in common that I'm in denial about.

Whaaaat. No one's afraid of me! Maybe he's just scared because I made him listen to It's Raining Men on the way to the thrift shop...I guess that could be frightening.

I dunno Kira, you are taller than him. ;)
